The client
Cozy Corner is a nail studio based in Aarhus, Denmark, run by an experienced nail technician with over 18 years in the industry. With a loyal client base and a reputation built entirely on word of mouth, the business had never had a website — relying instead on Instagram and personal referrals to bring in new clients.
The challenge
Without a website, Cozy Corner had no way to reach new clients outside their existing network, no place to showcase their work professionally, and no online booking path for potential clients who discovered them. The goal was clear: build a site from scratch that could attract new clients, communicate the quality and personality of the studio, and convert visitors into bookings — all while reflecting a very specific vision of the ideal client. The target audience was not generic beauty consumers. It was confident, career-driven women who value quality, take pride in their appearance, and make deliberate choices about where they spend their money.
The approach
With direct involvement in the business, there was no guesswork about the audience or the brand. Every design decision was made with one specific woman in mind — someone who notices the difference between a polished, intentional brand and a generic beauty website. The visual direction reflected that: a warm gold and cream palette, elegant serif typography, full-bleed lifestyle photography, and a tone of voice that felt personal and confident rather than corporate or generic.
The page structure was built around the booking conversion goal from the start. Social proof was placed high — a 5.0 star rating with review count in the hero, a stat bar immediately below communicating longevity and scale, and real client testimonials mid-page. The "Do you struggle with" section addressed common hesitations directly, turning objections into reasons to book before the visitor had even consciously formed them. Every CTA throughout the page pointed to the same destination: the booking system.
The result
Cozy Corner launched with a site that gave the business a professional digital presence for the first time — a platform to attract exactly the clients the studio wanted, showcase work that speaks for itself, and turn visitors into booked appointments. The site now anchors the business's online presence alongside its Instagram, giving new clients a credible first impression before they ever walk through the door.
